To ensure studying is flexible and convenient, most of our courses are divided into modules. You work through each module at your own pace and time. Once completed, submit the test, quiz, or assignment for marking. The support period is dependent on the type of course you choose; our minimum support period is one year.

Paying in full is the easiest and most straightforward way to pay for your course.

However we realise that sometimes you may need a little help, which is why at Open Learning College we partner with Klarna to offer our students the option of spreading the cost of their studies interest free over 3 months.

If you don’t feel that either of these options are suitable, please don’t worry, we have other options available and our Student Advisers will work with you to find the best plan.

If you choose to purchase a study pack you will receive all of your study materials in printed format, along with a study guide, and Open Learning College branded promotional item.

If you choose to study online, you’ll receive access to V.O.I.C.E. our proprietary e-learning portal within 24 hours of your order being processed, which will house all of your study materials in electronic format.

If you change your mind, we can offer you the opportunity to transfer to another course, fees may apply depending on how far into your course you are.

The answer is simple, when YOU want; you can start the course at any time we do not have any set enrolment dates. Most of our courses don’t requireany previous experience or qualifications. All you need is a desire and motivation to succeed. You can even start right now – call and speak to one of our Course Advisors.

This is dependent upon your choice of course and how fast you want to learn. A full breakdown of the course is available in the course brochure or online. We do provide estimated number of study hours; the majority of our courses take less than one year to complete, ask our course advisors for details.

Yes, you will be allocated a tutor who specialises in your chosen subject and will guide you through the course, mark your assignments and generally help you with any problems you may have.

Any queries and questions will be responded to within 48 hours (within working hours). However, marking work and giving feedback can take up to ten days.

Yes, your tutor will ask you to resubmit your assignment and give you support as to where you could improve.

You can get help by submitting a question to your tutor via the online portal and by submitting your assignments for marking. You must send your assignments one at a time so the tutor can mark one and give you feedback.

Our courses provide you with a dual certification upon successful completion of the course.

You will receive an Open Pathway Accreditation (OPA.dip) from our college. The second qualification will be awarded by the Ofqual awarding body for the course.

It depends on which course you complete. After completing most courses, your qualification certificate will take between four to six weeks to arrive.

However, some awarding bodies certificates take a little bit longer, taking between ten to 12 weeks to arrive due to outside moderation.

Most of our courses do not require you to sit examinations, only continual assessments. Where there are examinations required, you will receive all the information you need to make your own exam arrangements. Please note exam fees are not included in your course fee, unless otherwise stated.

Our comprehensive course materials are designed to be self-contained with all the relevant information you require to complete the course and gain the relevant certification. However, some of our students undertake additional reading via relevant textbooks/study guides and/or the Internet to add value to their studies.
